My PT 2 Go specializes in Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy, pregnancy, and postpartum care.
In many countries, females automatically receive Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy after childbirth. In the US, women often have to request care and find practitioners on their own.
We believe that every woman should have a postpartum screening visit with a Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist. Each patient is screened for common diagnoses with a complete exam, and any issues and questions are addressed immediately. We can provide guidance on returning to exercise, how to carry all of that gear, and tips for your transition into your new job as a mother.
Pregnancy and motherhood can be a difficult transition. You deserve all the self-care you can get!! Commonly, women can have incontinence (leaking), dyspareunia (pain with intercourse), and pelvic pain. None of these diagnoses are something you have to live with, and it is advised to receive treatment! Just like any other injury, the quicker you receive treatment, the quicker you can get rid of it.
There are many women who have the same diagnoses but have never had children. You are not alone and can be treated. Please contact My PT 2 Go if you have any concerns, so that we can address your concerns now.

We treat the whole body and system, looking at habits, diet, how the body moves, and any hands-on treatment that will assist your child become pain-free and leak-free.
